Description: Because of the danger to a worldwide dwindling elephant population, ivory is nearly impossible to import into the Unites States, legally. None of the ivory I use in making pens will contribute to the demise of the elephant population in any way. It is all a manmade synthetic casting expertly crafted to resemble natural ivory. It is produced in a manner very similar to any acrylic casting, but with subtle coloring added to the cast to very closely approximate natural ivory.
